Something strange going on? Write down any error message you see. Think back to what you were doing when your computer started acting up. Got a blue screen? Write down any text on the screen and the numbers that start with "0x". Those codes help us determine what happened.
Have you tried turning it off and then turning it on?
Believe it or not, this solves a HUGE percentage of Windows problems, especially if you don't usually turn your computer off at night. If you can't shut down from within Windows, then hold in your power button for a few seconds.
Nothing happens...Is everything plugged in and turned on?
Hey, we all do it. I always check the easy stuff first, and so should you. Check the power cable (both ends), keyboard, mouse, and speaker wires. Look for power lights on your tower, monitor, and speakers (maybe your mouse, too!).
